The 25th Association of Southeast Asian Nations-United States (ASEAN-US) Dialogue was successfully concluded in Manila on 22 May 2012. The meeting marked the 35th year of ASEAN-US dialogue relations and was held back to back with the first meeting of the ASEAN-US Eminent Persons Group. ASEAN and U.S. delegations exchanged views on regional and international developments, and discussed ways to advance cooperation across ASEAN’s political-security, economic, and sociocultural sectors.
