NUMBER OF AFFECTED AREAS

10,276 barangays in 44 provinces, 571 municipalities and 57 cities of Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI and CARAGA. 

EVACUATION CENTERS

A total of 72,986 familiesare being served inside 1,530evacuation centers. While 763,626 families who are not in evacuation centers are also being served. 

DAMAGED HOUSES

There are currently 543,127 houses damaged (272,087 totally / 271,040 partially)tallied in the affected provinces. 

ROADS

As of 6:00PM, 13 November 2013 all bridges and roads that were previously affected are now passable. 

AIRPORTS

Operations in Tacloban airport are still limited.

As of Nov 13, all airports under CAAP control are now operational.

COST OF DAMAGE

A total ofP10,339,290,061.00 worth of damages (P1,250,108,600.00 to infrastructure andP9,089,181,461.00 to agriculture) were reported in Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VIII and CARAGA.

A total of 155,366 hectares of agricultural land were affected. The estimated loss was P4,607,619,150.00

Cost of damage to livestock P2,079,107,275.00

Cost of damage to fisheries P1,055,477,436.00

Cost of damage to irrigation facilities amounted to P212,700,000.00

POWER INTERRUPTIONS

Power outage is being experienced on various areas in the following provinces:

  • Palawan (4 towns unrestored)
  • Mindoro (1 town unrestored)
  • Masbate (4 towns unrestored)
  • Aklan (18 towns unrestored)
  • Antique (7 towns unrestored)
  • Iloilo (15 towns unrestored)
  • Capiz (21 towns unrestored)
  • Negros Occidental (6 towns unrestored)
  • Cebu (11towns unrestored)
  • Bohol (37 towns unrestored)
  • All in Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar

Based on NGCP’s latest inspection, 566 transmission towers and poles are either leaning or toppled and 7 substations are affected which remained unenergized 

WATER SUPPLY

Municipality of Barbaza, Antique, and some municipalities/cities in Capiz and Iloilo, still do not have water supply.

Water supply in Leyte is sufficient as of 15 November 2013.

Presidential Proclamation No.682 dated 11 November 2013, Declaring A State of National Calamity in Samar provinces, Leyte, Cebu, Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, and Palawan.

PREPOSITIONED AND DEPLOYED ASSETS

A total of 22,730 personnel,1,285 vehicles, 77 seacrafts, 110 aircrafts and other assets / equipment from National and Local Agencies, Responders and Volunteer Organizations were deployed to strategic areas to facilitate response and relief operations.
