The Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) was signed on March 27, 2014, concluding 17 years of peace negotiations between the Government of the Philippines and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
It incorporates agreements signed by both parties: the Framework Agreement on the Bangsamoro; the four Annexes and the Addendum; the Ceasefire Agreement of 1997; and the Tripoli Agreement in 2001, among others. The CAB will be basis for the crafting of the Bangsamoro Basic Law Bill.
