Thai prime minister to visit PHL tomorrow

A January 18, 2012 press release from the Department of Foreign Affairs: DFA announced today that Prime Minister of Thailand Yingluck Shinawatra will visit the Philippines tomorrow, January 19. President Aquino will meet with the Thai prime minister in the morning to exchange views on bilateral and regional issues that are of mutual interest to both the Philippines and Thailand. Continue reading →

On behalf of the Filipino people, I cordially welcome Her Excellency, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, as well as her entire delegation. The Prime Minister and I are pleased at the excellent economic relations of our countries. Thailand is one of the Philippines’ largest trading partners.
