Aside from the regular life insurance benefits, the GSIS also grants service loans to its active members. These are : salary, policy and emergency loans, Bahay Ko (My House) Housing Program and Socialized/Special housing loans. To help retirees cope with the increasing cost of living, the Pension
Loan program was conceived. The program is available to old-age
or disability pensioners under R.A.
