Add Restriction Code (ARC)

  • ARC 1 - Motorcycle / Motorized

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 2 - Vehicles up to 4500 kgs GVW

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 3 - Vehicles above 4500 kgs GVW

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 4 - Automatic Clutch up to 4500 kgs GVW

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 5 - Automatic Clutch above 4500 kgs GVW

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 6 - Articulated 1600 GVW below

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 7 - Articulated 1600 to 4500 GVW

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed practical examination
    4. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    5. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

  • ARC 8 - Articulated 4501 GVW above

    Documents Required
    1. Duly accomplished Application Form
    2. Current/Expired License Card
    3. Must have passed written and practical examinations (if tractor/trailer is available)
    4. Trade Test Certificate (if tractor/trailer is not available) with a passing score/mark from a trucking company duly certified/signed by the Administrative Officer/Operations Manager and duly notarized.
    5. Drug Clearance Certificate (from an LTO accredited drug testing center)
    6. Taxpayer's Identification Number (TIN)

Additional Restriction Code Procedure
  1. Proceed to the Customer Service Counter to have your documents checked for completeness, and secure a Driver's License Application Form. (This form is available for download here. You can accomplish this form prior to transacting your business at the LTO.) Get a queue number and wait for your number to be called.
  2. When your number is called, proceed to the transaction counters to submit all required documents to the Evaluator.
  3. Proceed to the Phototaking/Signature Area to have your picture and signature taken when your name is called.
  4. Proceed to the Cashier when your name is called to pay the application fee and obtain an Official Receipt.
  5. Proceed to the Testing Area and present the Official Receipt to take the written exam.
  6. After passing the written exam, wait for your name to be called for the practical exam (No practical exam for conductor).
  7. After passing the practical exam, proceed to the Cashier when your name is called for the necessary fees and obtain an Official Receipt.
  8. Proceed to the Releasing Counter, present the Official Receipt and claim the temporary license or card type license.
