WHEREAS, Friday, July 23, 2004, marks the 35^th Foundation Day anniversary of Batangas City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Batangas City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO. Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, July 23, 2004, as special (non-working) day in Batangas City.
