57,328 Housing Units Completed for the AFP/PNP Housing Program
From May 2011 to June 2015, a total of 57,328 housing units were completed for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP) Housing Program. These units also benefited personnel from Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The completion of the aforementioned housing units underwent two phases. Phase I completed the first 24,298 units over the period of May 2011 to March 2012. Of the 24,298 units, 10,900 units were built for AFP and another 10,900 units for PNP. The remaining 2,498 units were allotted for BJMP and BFP.
Phase II completed 26,050 housing units over the period of March 2012 to July 2013. Of the 26,050 units, 11,722 units were built for AFP and another 11,722 units for PNP. 1,304 units were allocated for BFP, 782 units for BJMP, and 520 units for the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
The next batch of constructed houses are part of Phase 2A of the program.
