As of 8 p.m.: Quiel is expected to be 590 km West of Baguio City by Sunday afternoon if it continues to move West at 26 kph. Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under Storm Warning Signals were alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Those living in coastal areas are alerted against big waves or storm surges.
