In line with our commitment to sustain data transparency, the Open Data Task Force has released Joint Memorandum Circular no. 2015-01, which contains specific guidelines for agencies on how to implement open data.
Companies participating in the EITI publish the amounts they pay to their respective governments, which in turn also publish their collections from these industries.
In support of our thrust to promote the use and reuse of data, the Task Force recently partnered with the University of the Philippines’ National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) to organize a two-day Open Data Boot Camp.
Agencies play a crucial role in the work of opening up government data. It is their support and active participation that has allowed for the continued expansion of the Open Data portal, which currently hosts a total of 1,237 data files.
